His death certificate was signed by Howard M. Hite, M.D. SHIPLOCK BROTHERS MISSING SINCE FRIDAY Ted and Billie Shiplock, ages 12 and 14, have been missing from theirhome near Eagle Lake in Washington Township since Friday afternoon. Theywere last seen playing with their sleds and skates on Eagle Lake and asearch has been made about the lake for them. One cap and a small flute, with which they were playing, have been found, and may believe that theice gave way with them and they were drowned. Several crews have been atwork since Monday in dragging the lake. They are putting forth everyeffort possible to find them. The big seine was taken from Bass Lake toEagle Lake Wednesday and used but nothing was brought to the surface. Some folks belive that the boys have run away but most people feel thatsomething has befallen them. Mr. Shiplock said he sent the boys for thecows Friday evening and that they did not return. The horn which the boyswere playing with was removed from the lake Tuesday evening and thatevidence leads many to believe the boys may have drowned. It is reportedthat Eagle Lake has a very mucky bottom. They may have been buried in themucky soil. If so it would be a hard matter to locate the bodies.Officers are exhausting every possible clue to find _ the facts abouttheir disappearance but the most likely solution at this time seems to bethat they were drowned in the lake.
